My Week
I had a fiarly eventful week. Monday was normal.
Here's a visual view of my week:
Tuesday I went to get my hair cut. I decided I'm done with black, and was smart enough to decide to get it cut out instead of the horrible horrible damageing stripping. So I got it cut. I hate it. The women butchered me. The top is way to long, and the sides are way to short. All i can get it to do is lay slicked down, or stand straight up, but i can't get my whole head to do one or the other. I told the women I want it to be a fun funky cut, that is unsual, artsy, odd... and instead she gave me this and says "well you'll just have to style it and make it funky." I hate it. I showed her a picture and said "I like this length, this haircut looks okay, but I want something funkier" she gave a horrible horrible cut that looks nothing like the picture, then says she did it just like the picture. I still don't have all the black out. But I will in about a month or so. Notice the Harry Potter wallpaper on my computer?
Weds I worked, then pretty much did nothing else.
Thursday was of course Turkey day. I cooked. Here's some pictures:
My kitchen in the midst of cooking.
My Turkey. I think I snapped this pic a little bit before it was done.
My sink in the Midst of it all.
My husband, and one of our house guests. I didn't manage to snap a picture of our other guest.
Afterwards with the leftovers being packed away.
After dinner our one guest left to meet her cousin. Shortly to return to pick me up so we could go together and see the new Harry Potter. I've never before in my life wanted to pay to see the same movie in the theater more then once. But when she said she was thinking of going I quickly jumped at the idea of going again.
Friday I worked. Nothing to report about that. I did completely forget to do my ordering! I called in Saturday and my boss said he'd take care of it. I'm not in trouble or anything. After I got home from work I made abour 4 dozen chocolate lollipops. To give to the people I work with, friends, neighbors etc.
Then Saturday I woke up, called work because I realized I forgot to order then made these:
Minature books. It took me 2+ hours to make four. Notice there are only three in the picture? That's because I accidentally fell asleep and one our our animals (which one is still a mystery) did something to the 4th. I have no idea where it is. They have real pages and everything.
And that is pretty much my week. Any questions???
Also to my SP6- I haven't gotten the package yet. My guess is that the season is slowing it down. I'll let you know when it arrives!

Wow- A Post Finally
Wow, I really haven't posted much over the last month. But that'll change starting today! I swear!! Here's some photos to show the little bit of stuff I've done in the last month or so.
I finished Nick's scarf. It's about 6' or so long. He loves it! Even wore it when we:
Saw the NEW Harry Potter Movie!!!!!!!!!!!! We saw it opening night. He preordered tickets online, it was a good thing to! When we got there for the 7:10 movie there was lines filling the lobby for later showings (like 8:10, 9:30! etc.) I had to race home from work and we drove straight there. We barely made it in time and got stuck with front row seats. My neck was killing me when we got out of there 3 hours later! We could have had seats about 3 rows back, but some ignorant &*%#(&%! had seats "reserved" with the classic coat method, and we didn't feel like starting a fight.
I also made myself a scarf. Using Katia brand Nepal. This scarf is about 5' or so long and only used one skein. Good thing to as it usually cost $15! I used my discount and such though.
I also have started doing cake decorating. I always loved seeing my Aunt bring out her stuff, and some of the stuff she made, or I saw in books I'd buy for her, so I bought a kit and am teaching myself how to decorate cakes. I like to think I'm starting out rather well. Here's my very very first decorated cake that I made for Nick. It could have looked better, but I didn't have the stuff on hand already to make icing from scratch, so I ended up using the canned stuff we originally bought to go with the cake before I started this. This is the top:
Here's the way I did the sides:
And that is pretty much it. I did buy alot of yarn recently, but it is already stashed away in my studio to help keep the house clean when I do the Thanksgiving thing. At work they took yarns that had the wrappers torn off, or were tangled, and straighted them and packaged them 3 to a bag for $5. I Bought 7 bags! I got several skiens of yarn I know is $15 a piece, some lion brand incredible ($8) some various ladder yarns ($6-8 a piece) and more! I'm thinking scarves for Christmas gifts (and myself! lol as it is already pretty chilly here some days)
I haven't really spun anything because I'm having trouble with my wheel. Maybe it is user difficulties, I dunno.
anyway that's it. I'm posting again! Have a great day!

A very short post.
I just wanted to post to let everyone know that i am not dead. So here is my very short post:
I got switched my first day from Wedding/Candles to Floral. So I handle all the fake flowers. I like it.
I'm sick as a dog. I stayed home yesterday with a 102 fever, and still have a 100 today. when I got that job I shouldn't have started the next day, I never had time for my sinuses to recover and have just gotten sicker and sicker.
Between the hours at my job (i've even gotten a little overtime) and being sick I just haven't had time to post, I'm sorry. I qwork all day, then come home and sleep all night, until the next morning when i go to work. I haven't hooked, needled, or spun hardly anything for two weeks.
To sum it up- I feel like crap.
