Just Aquick Post

I haven't really posted lately. I don't have a very good reason for it. The last week or so I've been devoting a lot of time to my business, doing research, gathering ideas, making some things, and more. I just wanted to post again to say I'm not dead or anything. Life is going fine, just mostly uneventful.

So right now I've got some stuff dyeing in the studio. It's actually almost time to rinse it. I bought 30 skeins of white cotton yarn at work with the sole purpose of dyeing it. Right now I have 12 skeins going. 2 colors, each one with 3 solids and 3 patterns. How you ask? Well if I ball up the hank it gets a great varied variegated look, but if I leave it in a hank but not wrapped up, it's a solid. So I'll end up with 6 skeins of yarn in the exact same shade! Then 6 more in a (hopefully) matching color, that all match each other! It'll be pretty great! I'lll post pictures.

Tonight I have to work. I actually like working Friday nights. I have a buddy at work that I only get to work with for 4 hours a week, and it's on Friday night. Also we don't do much on Friday. There is a lot of playing around, joking, standing around chatting, etc. It's kinda like my lazy day. I sleep late, then go ot work and do nothing and hang out with friends while getting paid for it. Now I have no problem with working on Friday, and actually doing stuff, but there just isn't ever anything to do! So tonight I'll have fun with my buddies and have a good night, then post pictrues sometime tomorrow.

Tomorrow night is girls night. It was supposed to be tonight, but one girl REALLLLLY wants to go bowling, and not just any bowling but Cosmic Bowling, which ONLY happens at MIDNIGHT on Saturday! So Tomorrow night I'll be going out, for girls night out.

Now let me go rinse my yarn!

A Quick Quick Update

I have to work night shift today. I literally need to leave for work, um now. But I wanted to update a few things real fast.

I added a link to my Mom's Blog. If you're reading this check it out. She talks abotu her turtles, which are probably the love of her life, even above my brother, my dad, and I probably! I think she'd love to know some people are reading it, and it's interesting stuff!

I didn't give my myspace info, my site addy is http://myspace.com/cheeriospins I think. You can check me out there if you want.

Today I fell down the stairs. Not like head over heels, but more like a slide. I have no idea what happened. I was walking down and saw the dog got hold of something, so I bent down picked it up, stood back up, then next thing I know I was pretty much at the bottom of the stairs. I think I'm fine. I mean I have a slight headache, and was dizzy at first, but I feel mostly ok now. It was terrifying though. It all happened so fast, and I don't remember hitting my head, but it sure does hurt. My elbows have some rug burn. And yes I was holding onto the railing, atleast I was. In fact I think I held it the whole way down, and slightly jammed my finger somehow in the process. I dunno, the whoel thing was weird.

Today I made some soap, so I'll be adding a few bars to my etsy store soon.

have a great day!

I'm getting prety bad at this blogging thing

I just keep going entirely to long without posting. But here's an update:

1) I amback at home now. Home today sick from work with a stomach bug, and home from SC.

2) I'm not going to do SP again. I just haven't felt a connection with either of the people I spoiled, though they are prefectly nice and all, and this time i never even got my final package from my spoiler. I think that it's just to many people, and it gets to crazy and there's just no way with that many people that it could be a good swap every time.

3) I signed up at myspace, mostly to see if I can figure out what the big deal is. I just don't get it. I doubt anyone will be my friend on there. So far I asked my brother, his girlfriend, and one old friend of mine. My current friends on there? My brother and the default owner guy.

4) while in SC I set a blog up for my mom. I didn't get a chance to show her how to use it, because she was not feling well and fell asleep mid teaching. BUT I wrote everything down, and MOM since I know you're reading this remember I didn't create a blog for you for nothing!

Here's some pictures from my trip:

My very first Amigurumi. I gave this one to my soon (how soon we don't actually know) to be nephew.

My soon to be nephew is the cutest little guy. I just can't help but love him.

Here's some random pics from my Easter Egg Hunt. The best $50ish dollar I ever spent. I had 288 eggs total, but we used 190 for the main hunt, the others were split up for some other kids who couldn't make the main hunt. There was a total of about 10 pounds of candy, plus some toys. Stuff I need to remember for next year:
1) More eggs
2) chocolate melts amazingly fast outside!! We're talking mere minutes here!
3) more toys, like stuff from Oriental Trading

And since coming back home, I've become more dedicated to doing some charity work. Below is a touching (to me anyway) photo montage that was done for one of the charities I am working with. Just click the link to view it. I'll also add links to the three charities on my sidebar.

Wow I can't believe...

That I haven't posted in almost a month!!! I'm so horrible. I don't have a whole lot to say so here's somewhat of a top ten:

1) I am not at home right now. I'm staying with my parents as a little vacation. Therefore:
2) SP7, I didn't recieve my final package before I left (Friday the 31st) but I will let you know if it is there when I get back. Right now the post is holding my mail.
3) While here I've been pretty bored. I've slept a little more then needed, and eaten a little more too.
4) To help kill time I printed out the article at crochetme.com for Amigurimi because I'd been wanting to but my printer is out of ink, and I then
5) set out to try it! It is so hopelessly addicting! And quick too!! I've made about 4 or so critters already, and only started Monday morning!!!
6) I really miss my cats and I hope my neighbor is doing a good job looking after them.
7) I also miss my best friend Shannon, and all the girls too.
8) I'm thinking of making everyone from #7 an amigurimi character.
9) I spent some time with my brother's girlfriends son, who is a great little guy. He's been sick but I could totally picture being his Aunt, which according to them will happen sometime in the future in May, but not nessicarily of this year.
10) Did I mention I'm pretty bored? I really don't understand who I lived here as long as I did. Everything is so slow moving, there aren't many tv channels, people dress kinda funny (the other day a lady who seemed to think she was either a. a high class ho in a fancy city, b. a trashy drunk, or c a redneck, but has probably never been out of this town in her entire life looked at me funny for buying this awesome vintage vest!) My brother says the black hat we got him is "to gangster" and "needs to fade and wear in before he will wear it alot." His current hat is tan with bluish stuff at the top, but apprently started out navy blue. All the guys around here are pretty much like that. I understand now why I always felt so out of place here, well really I always understood, but being here again really forces me to face it again.

So long for this post!
